Marvellous location easy to reach with taxi, easy to get anywhere. Based so close to the centre of the medina, a quiet alley of the medina and the Tunis old medina. Huge rooms, well furnished and well-maintained. Absolutely fantastic and satisfactory breakfast with a wide range of food options.

Traditional interiors and picturesque, colorful house. Great breakfast with lots of Tunisian sweets.- Attentive and helpful staff.- Renovated area with charming cobbled streets.- Nice view from the roof.
Limited dining options close to the hotel, especially in the evening. Wifi was almost non-existent in my room.

I have just returned from a really comfortable stay in this small hotel, extremely spacious and huge rooms. The staff is nice, an absolute asset to this the place. The location is great, just a short walk away from Beb Bhar. The area is comfortable really close to the old medina and the souk taxis and restaurants and Zaitouna mosques. When I am in Tunis, I like staying here.

Comfy bed, clean bathroom and WiFi and air conditioner in the room. The view from the window to street. Unbeatable location in a relaxing area close enough to the Tunis old medina, excellent restaurant and a quiet alley of the medina. For tea or coffee visit Art Cafe nearby;)))

I recently stayed at Dar Ya for a few nights and it was truly the most beautiful hotel I've ever seen. The main hall and rooms were like a palace, covered in stunning tiles. Being there during Ramadan meant I had the hotel mostly to myself, even getting to choose my own room! The shared bathroom was also gorgeous and clean. The rooftop offered a great view of the city. The staff, especially Youssef and Maryuan, were incredibly friendly and welcoming. I felt like a family member, not just a guest. Dar Ya's location in the Medina was perfect for exploring the old city.
I highly recommend this hotel.

The location was superb, right in the heart of the bustling market area, which made it easy to explore and experience the local culture. The staff were also friendly and helpful, providing recommendations for places to visit and assisting with transportation arrangements.
The bathroom facilities were not up to par. The shared bathrooms were not well-maintained, and there was no hot water available.

We had an amazing stay in the heart of the Medina. The location was perfect, allowing us to explore the old medina and visit excellent restaurants like Dar El Jeld. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, always going above and beyond to make sure we had a comfortable stay. The rooms were well-maintained, with comfortable beds and clean bathrooms. The breakfast spread was delicious, with a variety of options to choose from. we loved the authentic atmosphere of the hotel and the warm hospitality of the staff.
It was a bit inconvenient that there was no air conditioning in the room, especially during the hot season.

A Hidden Gem in the Medina
I had the most enchanting experience at this hidden gem in the Medina. The moment I stepped into the narrow alleyway leading to the hotel, I felt like I was transported into a fairytale. The beauty and charm of the space truly captured my heart.

I recently had a wonderful stay at a charming and traditional courtyard hotel in Tunis. The staff at Dar Ya Bed & Breakfast were incredibly helpful and attentive, making my experience even more enjoyable. The room I stayed in was beautifully decorated, adding to the overall ambiance of the hotel. The location in the heart of the medina was perfect, allowing me to easily explore and find local food at reasonable prices. The simple but delicious breakfast included sweetened yoghurts, fresh oranges, bread, pastries, and hot beverages, making for a pleasant start to each day.
Nothing, no complaints at all. 😊
